DAVE RUF APPOINTED AS GENERAL MANAGER
Bill McEachern, President of Carman Co-op
is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Ruf to the position of General
Manager of Carman Co-op effective January 2,
2012. Dave comes to us from Killarney where he currently holds the
position of GM at Killarney-Cartwright Co-op.
Dave commenced his employment with the Co-operative Retail System in 1989 as
a Retail Manager with Macoun Co-op. In 1994 Dave accepted the Retail Manager
position at Cupar Co-op, and then moved on to Tugaske Co-op in 1997. Dave
worked with Tugaske Co-op for the next two years before taking on new
challenges as the General Manager at Pangman Co-op in 1999. In 2004 Dave
relocated to Whitewood Co-op as the General Manager, a position he held for the
next two years. Dave currently holds the position of General Manager with
Killarney-Cartwright Co-op.
Dave replaces Lorne Zacharias who was
recently promoted to General Manager of Heritage Co-op in Minnedosa. While
congratulating Dave to his new position, the Board also wishes to express
appreciation to Lorne for his many contributions to our retail and community
over the past 15 years.
